About the Role

TH Media is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our daily operations. This role requires at least one half-day, in-office workday per week at our Des Moines studio, with the option to expand hours both remotely and in-person based on workload and business needs.

As a 1099 independent contractor, you’ll have flexibility in scheduling but must be reliable, consistent, and deadline-driven. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys keeping operations smooth and organized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and completing simple forms

  • Copy, sort, and file records related to office activities and business transactions

  • Prepare letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions

  • Maintain filing systems (digital and physical)

  • Keep the office stocked with drinks, snacks, and supplies (including occasional store runs)

  • Coordinate production studio rentals with guests

  • Handle basic financial tasks including bill payments, invoicing, and light bookkeeping support

  • Support various internal departments as needed

 

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.​
