Key Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and completing simple forms.

  • Copy, sort, and file records related to office activities and business transactions.

  • Prepare letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.

  • Maintain filing systems (digital and physical).

  • Keep the office stocked with drinks, snacks, and supplies (including occasional store runs).

  • Coordinate production studio rentals with guests.

  • Assist with client creative work, including social media copywriting, posting on client accounts, and other marketing-related tasks.

  • Support various departments as needed.

 

The Opportunity

TH Media is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our daily operations. This role requires at least one in-office workday per week at our Des Moines studio, with the option to expand hours both remotely and in-person based on workload and business needs. As a 1099 independent contractor, you’ll have flexibility in scheduling, but must be reliable and able to meet deadlines. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys contributing to both administrative and creative projects.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

  • Experience using Canva for basic design and marketing tasks (nice to have, but not a requirement)

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • 1099 independent contractor position (part-time, hourly)

 

Work Environment

  • Company-issued computer and monitor available at the TH Media studio

  • In-person work required at least one day per week, with the option to expand to more hours in-office or remote
