About the Role

TH Media is looking for a Director of Client Success to lead the charge in delivering exceptional work, meaningful client relationships, and a creative process that’s anything but cookie-cutter. This role will be the cross-functional glue between strategy, content, operations, and client experience — helping us scale with purpose, not red tape.

This is a leadership role with equal parts strategy, creativity, and execution. You’ll work closely with the CEO, Creative Producer, Creative Lead, Social Media Strategists, and the rest of our nimble team to bring bold ideas to life and drive results for our clients. 

 

We’re not looking for a process pusher — we’re looking for someone who brings order without stifling creativity, is a self-starter, and is comfortable operating in the gray. Someone who can help us get better without getting slower. Someone who knows when to lean into structure and when to trust instinct. Given the volume of video projects we produce, you should also be confident operating in and around a production environment — whether on set with clients, managing timelines, or coordinating with our content team. Key Responsibilities

  • Client Strategy & Success 

    • Lead execution and communication for retainer and key project-based clients 

    • Build lasting client relationships through strategy-first leadership and day-to-day collaboration 

    • Develop and oversee strategies across video, content, social, brand, paid, and web 

    • Ensure expectations are aligned, deliverables are clear, and execution is smooth 

    • Represent TH Media on-site with key accounts across Iowa and the Midwest 

  • Creative & Content Leadership 

    • Collaborate with our video team and be present during key productions when needed to ensure alignment between creative execution and client expectations 

    • Support and guide content strategy across platforms in collaboration with social strategists 

    • Partner with our paid media contractor to align campaigns with client goals and KPIs 

    • Bring a strong voice to messaging, creative direction, and brand alignment across campaigns 

  • Project & Team Management  

    • Lead project planning — from kickoff to delivery 

    • Host weekly meetings and manage team workloads 

    • Coordinate full-time team members and freelancers to ensure smooth delivery 

    • Identify operational roadblocks and create solutions that scale 

  • Operational Oversight 

    • Help evolve our SOPs, without becoming process-obsessed 

    • Maintain high levels of accountability and quality across the team 

    • Own project pipelines and workflows with clarity and consistency 

  • Culture & Leadership 

    • Champion a positive, creative-first, client-loving team culture 

    • Act as a go-to problem-solver across internal teams and client situations 

    • Collaborate with the CEO on quarterly strategy, capacity planning, and agency evolution
