About the Role

TH Media is looking for a Client Strategy Director — a strategic thinker, digital-savvy marketer, and relationship builder who can bridge the gap between creative storytelling and measurable business results.

This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, content, and client leadership. You’ll lead key accounts, craft strategies that connect audience insight with creative execution, and ensure every campaign — from concept to delivery — drives results that matter.

You’ll collaborate closely with our CEO, creative team, and social strategists to define goals, shape messaging, and guide how success is measured. You should be confident interpreting analytics, translating data into insights, and using performance indicators to sharpen both creative direction and client strategy.

We’re not looking for a process manager. We’re looking for someone who understands how creativity, content, and data work together — and can lead clients through that journey with confidence, curiosity, and vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Strategy & Leadership

    • Lead execution and communication for retainer and key project-based clients 

    • Build lasting client relationships through strategy-first leadership and day-to-day collaboration

    • Develop integrated marketing strategies that align video, content, social, paid media, and web

    • Use analytics, trends, and performance data to inform creative direction and decision-making

    • Ensure expectations are aligned, deliverables are clear, and execution is smooth 

    • Lead client discovery and planning sessions that connect business goals to creative output

    • Represent TH Media on-site with key accounts across Iowa and the Midwest

  • Creative & Digital Direction

    • Partner with our creative and production teams to ensure every piece of content connects back to client goals and strategic intent

    • Provide leadership on messaging, campaign positioning, and storytelling across video, social, and web platforms

    • Collaborate with partners and internal teams to review results, understand performance, and identify creative opportunities for improvement

    • Evaluate content through the lens of both brand instinct and audience insight — balancing emotion with effectiveness

    • Ensure all creative work aligns with client objectives, communicates clearly, and delivers tangible business impact

  • Performance & Growth 

    • Interpret analytics and audience data to uncover insights that guide storytelling and strategy

    • Communicate key learnings and recommendations to clients in a clear, actionable way

    • Recognize opportunities to evolve and expand client initiatives through creative strategy

    • Stay current on digital platforms, audience trends, and best practices to keep TH Media’s work relevant and forward-thinking

  • Team Collaboration

    • Lead internal communication for accounts and maintain clarity across projects

    • Work with strategists, designers, videographers, and contractors to ensure alignment and execution

    • Coach and mentor team members on strategic thinking and digital best practices

    • Champion a creative-first, data-informed culture that values both big ideas and measurable outcomes
